This heart-shaped amulet, crafted from a lustrous green stone, features two protruding lugs on either side.
Heart amulets were associated with protection, symbolizing the vital organ that was believed to be the seat of one's emotions and moral consciousness. The heart, or "ib" in ancient Egyptian, played a crucial role in the Weighing of the Heart ceremony during the judgment of the deceased in the afterlife.
