This entirely checked and carefully tested Dual CV40 amplifier comes, yes, from the year 1968 and is for its age, almost 50, in an absolutely beautiful condition. Rock-solid and still very beautiful amplifier by Dual with volume control, linear or ‘contour’. The amplifier has a beautiful wooden casing with brushed aluminium front, this is really what you call a design classic. You can also see the impressive row of knobs, also made of aluminium of course. The print is also 100% mint. This amplifier had a big range or connections for the time, being Phono magnetic, Phono ceramic (AUX 1), Tuner, Tape recorder and Microphone (AUX 2). All connections are by means of DIN connection. Small traces of use/dents on the wooden casing (see picture 11 and 12).
