The SONY PS 4750 is an exclusive High End turntable, a Sony classic from 1975. An easy-to-use manual turntable from the top of the line series with unique features. The stroboscope is horizontal so the diameter of the platter, hence the turntable, is huge (47.5 cm wide and 39 cm deep to be exact). Hundreds of horizontal holes on the edge of the platter show the illuminated stroboscope. Instead of a rubber mat, the platter carries the record on big and small air pads. Thanks to its separate power and interlink connections, the SONY PS 4750 gives you the possibility to experiment for an even better sound. The chassis is entirely made of aluminium and looks great, with only slight signs of use. The build is very solid and the components are high quality. Thanks to the heavy aluminium construction, the turntable is rather insensitive to outside vibrations. The dust cover is polished and completely clear with some slight signs of use. Comes with the original SONY headshell and a Stanton 500 cartridge with stylus. The original SONY 45 rpm adapter and power cable are also included.
