Loys Lucha - Suspension in moulded glass, painted with floral decor
Louis-Joseph Castro - Luzon (1880-1951) is at the origin of the
Art Loys-Lucha glass works creation, installed in 1910 in Billancourt near Paris, but
also in Nancy. They will definitively cease their activity in 1939.
This factory was specialized in glass enamelling.
Loys Lucha has notably produced suspensions in blown glass, enriched with enamelled paintings.
The offered piece dates from the 1930s, a suspension of hexagonal shape.
The central part has a decor of flowers and leaves with an orangey
dominant. The outer part underlines the central motif by alternation of
transparency and opacity of the glass.
Signed at the limit of the central part and the outer part.
Inside is equipped with original fasteners and socket (to change)
41.5 cm X 31.5 cm, in very good condition. Info or photo on request.
