Olivetti Lexikon 80 E. long carriage electric typewriter, designed by M. Nizzoli, was the first electric typewriter by Olivetti, rare collectible piece, working but not used for a long time, therefore sold as not tested, aesthetically very well preserved, complete with power cable and dustproof plastic cover.

In 1950 production of Olivetti's first electric typewriter began; the Lexikon 80 E. The direct mechanical connection between the button pressed by the operator and the element hitting the paper is no longer present, it is the motor, the only electric component, that impresses the necessary movements whenever the operator ‘touches’ the key.
