Apal Porsche - Coupé - 1964
Unique Apal Porsche Coupé, fully race-prepared and the only one in the world with an official FIA Historical passport (in the class GT Prototypes).
Approximately 25 units were built in the 1960s with a polyester body based on the Porsche 356 mechanics (engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes). This is one of the 8 units with an ultra-light body built specifically for racing at the time.
Porsche 356SC engine, built with special parts, such as SCAT crank shaft, 356 Enterprises pistons and cylinders, Carillo connecting rods. Porsche 356 gearbox with special ratio. Engine and gearbox approx. 6 races old.
Comprehensive documentation available, including a letter from the original manufacturer Edmond Pery. Publications in the Porsche 356 Registry, among other things.
Including 2 sets of rims with Dunlop Racings.
The car can be viewed during the Historic Grand Prix in Zandvoort on 1 and 2 September.
