In this auction we are offering a mixed lot of 16 bottles: 1 bottle 1971 Niersteiner Oelberg Riesling und Silvaner Spätlese - Staatliche Weinbaudomäne Mainz 3 bottles 1975 Gau-Odernheimer Petersberg Septimer, Siegerrebe, Optima Auslese - Weingut Spiesmacher 1 bottle 1976 Mettenheimer Rheinblick Scheurebe Auslese - Weingut Seilheimerhof 1 bottle 1975 Trittenheimer Apotheke Auslese - Weingut Nilles 1 bottle 1975 Trittenheimer Apotheke Spätlese - Weingut Nilles 1 bottle 1983 Alsheimer Frühmesse Weißburgunder Spätlese - Weingut Schleich 1 bottle 1989 Burgener Kirchberg Spätlese halbtrocken - Weingut Bohn-Leimbrock 1 bottle 1993 Spiesheimer Osterberg Scheurebe Spätlese - Winzergenossenschaft Goldenes Rheinhessen 3 bottles 1989 Rheingau Riesling Kabinett trocken - Weingut Erbslöhe 2 bottles 1991 Schwabenheimer Klostergarten Kerner Kabinett trocken - Weingut Propstei 1 bottle 1994 Geisenheimer Kläuserweg Riesling Kabinett - Weingut Graf-Müller All bottles are estate bottled with 70cl or 75cl content Fill level: into neck Label condition: with usual cellar traces, some labels with small damages Capsule condition: good for this old age, with usual cellar traces Alcohol content: 9.0% - 11.0% volume Allergen: contains sulphites Generally to matured wines, old wines and wine rarities: Wine is a natural product that may undergo changes in taste and color over the course of decades of storage. Therefore, we can not guarantee the drinkability and flawless taste of old aged wines. However, we take the utmost care in buying these wines, convince ourselves of optimal storage conditions, check the history of the bottles as far as possible and also carry out visual inspections of the bottle contents for cloudiness and consistency changes. As already mentioned, older mature wines change their original taste during the decades of storage and sometimes have a ripe clay. White wines often tend towards a darker color, some cognac, sherry or amber and can form tartar, red wines often form a depot on the bottom of the bottle. A different visual and taste experience compared to young wines is not uncommon for mature wines. For wine drinkers who have problems with the partly fresh, pronounced acidity of young wines, matured wines can be a real blessing, as the wine acid loses its power and aggressiveness over the years. Please note: although the Catawiki system displays worldwide shipping we do not ship alcoholic beverages due to customs regulations to the following countries: Canada, United States of America, Russian Federation, Mexico, Brazil, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, Svalbard and Jan Mayen. Buyers outside of Germany are responsible for all further costs that may arise due to customs regulations on entry into the country of the recipient. This also applies to new costs incurred in the rejection and return to the original consignor of parcels by the respective customs authority. In particular, the buyer will be charged for the cost of the return and any new shipping to the buyer.
