Running wall clock model French Comtoise which is signed with Safon & Bonnefils. á Valence d'Agen (in the French department Tarn-et-Garonne, Occitanie region). Around the enamel dial with Roman numerals is a finely decorated brass-lamella with images of a family with children, horse and carriage. Comes with the original winding key.
The clock runs but its needs to be calibrated by a professional, it strikes correctly.

The clock features two cast-iron weights hanging behind the pendulum, hanging on original ropes, one for powering the movement and one for the striking mechanism. Clock strikes a large bell every full and half hour. At full hours, it will repeat the number of hours after a few minutes. Comes with a finely forged metal case.
