Alemanha - Chapéu, WW2 alemão Braunschweig "Mütze" cap. Criador EREL.
WW2 German Braunschweig "Mütze" cap. Maker EREL. Very famous regiment, and a big part of german military history!
Either from a "Sonderführer" or "Beamten", because of the dark green "Waffenfarbe" (I doubt it's from their Jäger), assigned to the Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 17 or Kavallerie-Rgt. 13, also known as the "Braunschweiger" regiment.
Rare! Good condition, with some age and wear. The Eichenlaubkranz and Korkade is loose, and fastened with 2 needles.
The "Braunschweiger" regiment, were the ONLY ones who used this kind of skull, it' a part of the regiments history. The soldiers would move the eagle up, and place the skull.
