left thunder: C of 17.6, P R, 719;
under the barrel: N 564, F 22;
Breech tail: Mle 1822 T Bis
on the barrel to the left: CHATELL.., TULLE, 719 ;
lock: R in a diamond with dark bottom; Mre Rle; the rest is unreadable
all brass fittings: T in an oval.

dating: manufacturing in 1825, probably in Tulle, transformation in 1861 (in Châtellerault?)
