The Parker 51 was probably the most successful fountain pen model, and it is a true turning point especially stylistically, thanks to the transition to a modernist and utilitarian conception of the fountain pens. Filler system is the classic Aerometric filler (original). Pen in working condition, with 14 kt gold nib, it writes with quite thin trait. Plastic resin pen body. Cap is made of ‘millerighe’ golden metal with the word PARKER. New pen - never used and never inked - complete with - instruction booklet for refill - certificate of guarantee - original box. It was sold by Ercolessi - Milan - Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in the 1960s. Very valuable collector’s item.
