This beautiful Art Deco sculpture by sculptor Salvatore Melani (1902-1934) is on a base made of onyx and Jericho marble. The typical green patina of the 30s is still very well preserved. It was certainly manufactured in a foundry in France in ca. 1930.
This piece is signed S.Melani and is in very good condition overall with very light signs of wear and tear on the patina - see photos.
