Car now very rare and in rather good condition. This is a Fiat 124 saloon, first series from 1967, is in original condition and with only one registered owner. It is an example of the first version of this model, with the rear suspension equipped with a thrust tube, the dynamo, the carburettor Solex 32 horizontal and the special stop system for the boot lid (all elements disappeared with the model 1968). Registered in the province of Alessandria, used very little and very scrupulously by its owner, it was deregistered in 1991 to avoid the payment of property tax, but regularly maintained in operation (even using a test number plate) and kept in a protected and dry storage. The kilometres indicated by the instrument, 40560, are the actual kilometres. The car is currently in perfect working order (engine with excellent compression, it doesn’t emit smoke, brakes, steering, suspension, impeccable transmission), it has never been restored and is in absolutely original condition, absolutely spotless interior in tobacco coloured faux leather and original Everest rubber carpets, healthy structure, as you can see from the photos, with some superficial rust spots (absolutely not passing through, the light blue colour applied by the factory can be clearly seen also on the underbody). Some painting defects (the paint is flaking off in some points) and there is a scratch on the right rear door (result of a parking accident), chrome-plating in order. In order to be perfect again, it only needs of a layer of paint, in the meanwhile it has been serviced (oil, filters, brakes) and the terminal of the exhaust muffler and the light switch have been replaced with new and original components. Instruction manual and original service documents are available, the car can easily be re-registered and, for this, all the necessary documentation will be provided (PRA chronological certificate and sales contract).
