Multi Award winner Boris Vallejo is a Peruvian painter. Vallejo works almost exclusively in the genres of fantasy and erotica. His hyper-representative paintings have appeared on the covers of numerous science fiction and fantasy paperbacks and can be seen in a series of best-selling glossy calendars.
This sculpture is made in solid hot bronze and coloured by hand, as well as polished in a rich, lush patina. The figure sits on a marble and wooden base marked with "Mistress of Fire by Boris".
H 33 cm.
Diameter base = 15.5 cm.
Weight approx 3 kg.
In very good condition.
Small barely visible seam on the back of the wooden console.
