Made of cast aluminium, this industrial style precursor item was too expensive and customers preferred the Peugeot Frères coffee grinders of the so-called ‘modern’ range grinders made of sheet metal or stainless steel.
Few families were able to purchase this grinder.
The Moulux grinder is therefore very hard to find nowadays.
The three jars of the same series (coffee, sugar, chicory) sold with it are virtually unobtainable.
Its dimensions are:
13 x 13 x 16.5 cm (5.25" x 5.25" x 6.5").
19.5 cm high with crank (7.5").
Beautiful collector's or decoration object increasingly rare and which fits particularly well with industrial, contemporary or classic styles.
