The first thousand, numbered and signed by Hergé as Tintin, and by his wife Germain Kiekens who signed as Milou.

One of the most rare albums and imaginative albums
Beautiful front and back covers. The spine is completely original and not replaced. Minor wear to the corners of the fabric.
Light wear at corners and edges, where it has been restored slightly.
A fold in the flyleaf (with signature) over the entire vertical length. The top of the title page has been reinforced with rice paper.
A very nice book block otherwise that has been reattached.
