Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary with 2 court ladies (constables) Empress Elisabeth of Austria. She wears the so-called Edelweiss stars in her hair. Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie, Duchess of Bavaria (born 24 December 1837 in Munich, Kingdom of Bavaria; died on 10 September 1898 in Geneva, Switzerland) was a princess from the ducal branch line of the Palatinate-Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld-Gelnhausen of the House of Wittelsbach, through her marriage to her cousin Franz Joseph I from 1854 Empress of Austria and from 1867 Apostolic Queen of Hungary. The siblings called her "Sisi"; Since the Ernst-Marischka movies she is also known as "Sissi". The two court ladies are: Sophie Esterházy-Liechtenstein (1798 - 1869), constable Pauline von Königsegg (1830 - 1912), constable from 1862 Sissi has a height of about 50 cm - her two court ladies are each about 55 cm. Head/chest, arms and legs are made of porcelain (or similar to stoneware) and elaborately sewn in with the body (see photos). The dolls are elaborately painted; Head/chest, arms and legs show no damage or chips. All 3 dolls have elaborate hairstyles, are elaborately dressed (day dress, partially with several underskirts and partially with hoop skirt, outer garment, accessories) and wear all the features of the time (such as collars). They are each attached to a height-adjustable metal stand around the hip, waist, which is removable and are thus suitable for presentation in a display case or on a dresser. Sissi still has the original card (limited to 5,000 pieces worldwide). All 3 dolls are in excellent condition - this is the dissolution of a "showcase collection". It comes from a non-smoking household without pets.
