Karl-Heinz Grasselt first studied engineering and worked in that field. He taught himself the art of photography. He then worked as a photojournalist in Munich on the topics of travel and “Freikörperkultur” (free body culture). He worked as a photojournalist for the "Stern" and the "Quick". His nudist photographs were taken in the south of France, mainly in the large nudist centre Cap d'Agde.
Cap d'Agde is a district of Agde, on the Mediterranean coast of the Golfe du Lion. At the beginning of the 1970s, the "Village Naturiste" was built, today the largest nudist facility in the world.
Grasselt published the nudist photographs in numerous German and international nudist magazines such as "Sonnenfreunde", "Helios", "Humana", "H&E". He worked as a photographer from 1970 to 1990. Today he lives near Munich.
This photo is taken from the archive of a German nudist magazine, hence the notes and notes for the printer on the back of the photo.
