History
The FIAT 125 Samantha was built by Vignale on a Fiat 125 basis and presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1967.
From the creative "pen" of Virginio Vairo, the Samantha has an original, modern design and a sleek line that skilfully combines elegance and sportiness.
A 4-seater coupé with lenticular front, air intake under the bumper and retractable headlights. The mechanical base is the same as that of the Fiat 125 with a 90 hp 1.6 litre engine.
At that time, the production rate of the Samantha assembly line was about 1 unit per week. In fact, by 1971, only about 100 copies were produced, mostly sold in France and England, where they were nicknamed "Little Maserati."
