Heinkel - Kabine 154 "electric 2023" - 1957

Heinkel Kabine 154, made in Germany, converted to electric drive in Finland. The electrification project was carried out in cooperation with the Finnish Transport and Communication Agency. The electric design was inspected and proofed by a 3rd party Peartek automation. The electric motor is new and has run Heinkel 283 km. The original car was driven 25696 km before the modification project. Rear end mechanics are totally new design, including electric motor, controller, shock absorbers, fittings, wheel and swing arm. The strength calculations have been done for the mechanics with CAD-program. The under body has been sand blasted, painted and rust protected. No visible rusting. Some scratches of the jack and the brake fluid. There is minimum small play in the left front axle. Specifications: - electric BLDC-motor 5kW/10kW (peak) - direct drive (integrated in rim, no wearing gears) - speed 80km/h (max 90km/h short time) - distance 100...150 km/charge - battery LiFePO4 72V 100Ah 7.2kWh - charging 1.5kW 230V/8A - DC-DC-converter 72V to 12V 600W - battery is well protected mechanically and electrically - battery is brand new and has been charged only a couple of times - original wiring for lamps - new wiring for battery, controller, motor, sensors and dashboard - curb weigt is 305 kg and total weight is 510 kg History The first owner bought the Heinkel in Oulu 1957. After short period in the traffic the engine was damaged and the car was put out of traffic for a long time. The last owner bought it for fixing. The body was totally fixed, sand blasted and painted with primer. The broken parts were replaced. The engine was opened and the broken parts were replaced. The current owner bought the Heinkel and restored it. It was wholly painted and the under body was rust protected. The car was road registered first as a motor cycle and later back again as an original car. The front brakes were replaced with disc brakes. At the same time the wheel hubs, rims and tires were replaced with modern parts. Heinkel was used short times during some summers. Then the electrification project was started. There is no information about any accidents, because most of the time the Heinkel has been under restoration. Heinkel has been stored in a warm and dry place. All brake parts and the whole rear end are a new construction. The original parts have been retained for possible museum use. The new rims, fender and the front tires are included for the spare parts. All original replaced parts are included: motor, gearbox, rear axle, rims, tires, brakes, instrument panel and fenders. The controller settings are fixed. Heinkel is intended for normal traffic and similar use. All modifications are later reversible to original conditions with included original parts (museum use). The Heinkel is sold in Finland and is located in Oulu Finland It is recommended to view and inspect the vehicle in Oulu, Finland, prior to placing a bid in order to avoid any disappointment afterwards.
