This is a very rare set of Duvet Cover with 2 matching pillow cases. Both have the initials L.D. and beautifully embroidered with high relief and clearly visible. The dimensions of the initials on the duvet cover are 12 cm and that of the pillow cases 8cm. Both fabrics are still slightly off white and again indicates that the set was very little used. The fabric will turn white after a few washes. It is purely coincidental that I was able to match the set. I bought the duvet cover recently in the Basque country. I knew that somehow I still had a pair of pillow cases in the stockroom and they matched perfectly together. They have now been reunited after all those years. Both the cover and pillow cases are framed with lace.
