A beautiful carved Portrait of a NOble Lady from the ancient Greek or Minor Asian culture, first millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler, so it is shiny and smooth, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. Trace of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
