This rum was distilled in the Bellevue distillery.
The gorgeous distillery is located in the heart of the largest sugar cane plantation on the island of Marie Galante in Guadeloupe.
The Bellevue au Moule estate and their distillery were established in the late 1800s.
Their most famous component, the windmill was built back in 1821. Bellevue is the first distillery in the Caribbean that has committed itself to protecting the environment by having a 100% ecofriendly production process.
The rum is in an extremely rare bottle that is 23 years old.
It is a single cask bottling of pure column distilled rum and is based on molasses.
It is aged both tropically and continental in bourbon casks, where neither color nor sugar has been added.
This is Batch 2 which is dedicated to international customers.
