A jade belt buckle depicting a monster mask from the ancient Western Asiatic culture.
First Millennium AD.
In good condition. Its has been cleaned , but the nice antique patina is preserved. original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased in 1994 in Vietnam/Hanoi by Dr. Zelnik from the collection of a former director of the National Museum.
