A pair of linen pillow cases with initials B.B.
I is becoming very rare to get complete sets of pillow cases as most times
it is only one pillow case which survives.
My take is that because of rubbing of hair during the night and obviously
for long periods the fabric cannot withstand such treatment and it is always the centre
of the pillow case which gets extremely thin.
This pair has been very little used and is in excellent condition.
Also, and as it should be the B.B. initials are opposite each other.
They are very well embroidered in high relief.
The pillow cases are still with their original buttons.
