The Burgundian signature In 1830, Arthur Barolet founded a small family business in Beaune, capital of the wines of Burgundy, this one was known only by a small number of connoisseurs appreciating the quality of its wines. His grandson, also called Arthur, left medicine and Paris in 1920 to take care of the family business. Today, the quality and tradition put in place by the former owners are perpetuated in the cellars of the 19th century House in Savigny-lès-Beaune. The House has vineyards including part of the Clos des Guettes, renowned 1er Cru in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Clous and Grands Echezeaux. As for the other appellations, the best cuvées are selected from quality-conscious winemakers and the wines are aged in French oak pieces of 228 litre French oak respecting the Burgundian tradition. Arthur Barolet & fils offers a range of Burgundy wines including Chablis, Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. this wine of execption has always been kept in perfect conditions in a natural underground cellar. The bottle is perfectly held in its wooden case that must be disassembled to take it out. the bottle will be shipped in a special and secure packaging to offer the best transport conditions.
