Jarra - Bronze, Vaso de bronze Takaoka com esculturas de ameixa feito por Yoshiyama há cerca de 100 anos - Japão (Sem preço de reserva)

This is a raised relief vase with plum blossom design by Yoshiyama, a creator known for copper figurines and Buddhist statues. The thick copper vase features a raised relief carving of plum trees and blossoms. As you can see from the mouth of the vase, it is very thick. Additionally, the craftsmanship of the carving is of very high quality. While Takaoka Copperware vases are common, those featuring raised relief carvings from about a hundred years ago are extremely rare. I believe it would be highly appreciated by antique vase enthusiasts. Takaoka Copperware : Takaoka Copperware vases are traditional artistic crafts produced in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. These vases are typically made of copper, known as Takaoka Copperware, and are characterized by beautiful designs and advanced craftsmanship. Crafted from copper, these vases involve intricate carving of the metal to create beautiful patterns and designs. They blend traditional techniques with modern designs, resulting in delicate and refined vases. Traditional methods such as metal engraving and makie (a decorative technique using lacquer) are employed, adding rich colors and patterns to the metal surface. These vases are highly valued as art pieces and are popular for collections or as gifts both within Japan and internationally. Takaoka Copperware vases exemplify the fusion of Japanese tradition and craftsmanship, showcasing outstanding examples of artistic craftsmanship. Center Diameter 14.5 cm Top Diameter 8.2 cm Bottom Diameter 9.0 cm Height 18.0 cm Weight 2400 g Condition: Overall condition is good. However, since this vase is approximately 100 years old, there are stains, scratches, and scuffs due to age. I have included many photos, so please take a look.
