A superb cup or bowl and its cover, measuring 10.3cm in diameter and together weighing 160g, finely painted in polychrome enamels to depict four immortals in a boat (made from a living tree), a guard in front of them battling a sea dragon, the lid decorated with the other four immortals in a similar boat. Both bowl and lid marked with Tongzhi reign mark in gold and iron red. Estimated age: Late 19th century. Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs.
