Pre-Columbian Moche culture. Northern coastal desert area. Figural vessel depicting a llama, lying on the ground, its legs folded. On it’s back is a man reclining on his stomach on top of a saddle bag. As described in most literature the man is probably drunk, because he is not only lying in a quite unusual place, but he is also riding the llama backwards.
