A very impressive Ottoman Empire silver-metal ring. It presents an oval raised bezel with a green hardstone showing a bird in flight. The intaglio decoration potentially served as a stamp or a seal, illustrating a protective symbol or the heraldry of the owner. The raised bezel is richly decorated on all sides and the band with a pattern of stippled rectangles and geometric motifs. The stone is framed by a delicate filigree. Good solid condition, wearable. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
