Hampden Great House Distillery Edition 2023: three hundred years of incredible rums The Distillery Edition, here in the 2023 version, is a blend of the most representative brands of the unique style of rums from Hampden Estate, a historic Jamaican distillery active since 1753. A unique rum is produced here, characterized by spring water, prolonged fermentations and wild yeasts , distillations in copper double retort pot stills, tropical aging in ex-bourbon barrels and no addition of sugar or additives. Located in the Trelawny province, in the grand cru of Jamaican rum, and managed since 2009 by the Hussey family, Hampden Estate is known for having the best parcels of land in the country, with one of the highest yields per hectare.
