Rare British 1950'S - Strand Electric - Vintage Floor Lamp This iconic example of British design was made by the Strand Lighting Company in their Covent Garden works in London’s West End. Designed by Morgan McLeod. The Patt 123 spotlight was one of the workhorses of the theatre industry from the 1950s to the 1970s. We were very lucky to acquire a few of these lights directly from the Palace Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, London. The spotlight has been professionally restored to a bright mirror finish. Size: Length 33cms, Width 22cms, Height 22cms. The Light is presented on a handmade wooden tripod. The height range is adjustable from 75 cm to 170 cm. The light has been re-wired with 3 core quality silk braided vintage style lighting flex and fitted with a CE-approved dimmer to change the brightness from a warm glow to a bright spotlight.
