A high quality pair of Japanese cloisonné vases. Meiji period 1868-1912.
They have depictions on panels with flying dragons (symbol of the emperor) on one side and on the other the mythical polyphoenix (symbol of the empress). Interspersed floral motifs and flowers again on a soft green gray background.
All the decoration is done with fine silver wires on the margins. The patterns are distinguished by elegance and finesse in performance.
They have a height of 23.5 cm and a diameter of 10 cm.
They are in very good condition for their age, with minimal signs of use. There are no missing pieces of enamel.Please look carefully at the photos. They help to understand the description and give the real image of the object.
