He took thousands of pictures of each subject, then spent two years editing to find the defining shot. And stripped away all external distractions, shooting in his studio in black and white. Ryan McGinley is one of America's leading photographers. Starting his career as a photo editor for Vice magazine, Ryan was also photographing friends like Dash Snow and Dan Coren. Ryan was a photographer who portrayed the so-called underground street culture, with drugs and sex. It has transformed my style into pure and clean photographic creations.
