The finest filigree ornamentation in a lunar shape connects the four hollow oval elements.
Exceedingly Rare in this exceptional grade and a masterpiece of the late byzantine jewelry where this shape was one of the beloved. The electrum is a metal, a natural mixture between gold and silver in use from the byzantine society after 11th. Century AD. when also a coin denomination from the same metal entered officially in the Byzantine regular monetary system. Exceedingly Rare.
