Arne Jacobsen’s Cylinda-line series for Stelton, launched in 1967, became an immediate success, winning both Danish and international design awards in the late 1960s. His innovative use of lightly brushed, seamless stainless steel in pure, clean cylindrical forms was a sensation and has remained popular ever since. These are items from the Cylinda-line series, including a sleek cylindrical, lidded ice bucket, the largest size from the series (17.7x14.5cmx17.7cm; 2.5 litres) together with matching vintage ice tongs (19x4.4x2.4cm), both with early Arne Jacobsen (AJ) signature. These are vintage items from the 1970s-1980s, both in used near-mint condition with only minimal patina. There no dinks, bumps or significant scratches.
