*** Delivery with invoice and certificate of authenticity *** 19th CENTURY, France - Very rare clock named "the hour" with the large CUPIDON 9.5" signed by MOREAU - Name plate on the front "l'Heure" by François MOREAU and signature on the back "L. & F. MOREAU" for Louis & François MOREAU (very renowned French sculptors) - Cupid seated in a garden of roses and peonies, an arrow placed at his feet, (note, a phalanx of Cupid's index finger is missing). - Railway dial with black numbers/indexes, with its glass door and its pair of antique hands. This movement shows the time only and does not have a striking function, works but will need to be serviced and oiled by the new buyer because the last service is unknown. This clock is approximately 130 years old. ***Clock delivered with its key, - Total height: 29 cms / 11.5" - Total width = 20 cms / 8" - Total depth = 16 cms / 6.3" - Base = 13 cms x 10 cms (5.2" x 4") - Total weight = 2,540 kgs / 90 oz. 19th CENTURY, France - Very rare clock named "the hour" with the large CUPIDON 9.5" signed by MOREAU
- Name plate on the front "l'Heure" by François MOREAU and signature on the back "L. & F. MOREAU" for Louis & François MOREAU (very renowned French sculptors)
