1950 BALDA 'Baldinette' Folding Camera. Manufactured in Germany from 1950. In very good cosmetic condition. Prontor-S 8-speed shutter working on top 4 speeds and slow/sticking on lower four speeds. The body and black leatherette in good condition. The bellows all good. The focusable Balda f2.9 50mm Baltar lens is clean and focuses smoothly. To cock shutter with no film in, requires turning the film transport cogs manually, pressing a button at the bottom of the camera, next to the film transport and then cocking the lever on top of the lens! Also included is a leather ever-ready case, with novel metal base, retaining strap for camera and flap on rear for viewing DOF prompt.
