This Glenrothes Single Malt Whisky was aged for 30 years in First-Fill European oak sherry casks. The Glenrothes distillery has existed in the Speyside region since 1878. It was founded by James Stuart & Co. The water for the whisky comes from the Brucehill and Ardcanny springs. Used from an early stage as an ideal component in blended Scotch whiskies, Glenrothes has long been a key part of big brands such as Cutty Sark and Famous Grouse.
