The importance is not the pamor motif but the nice shape of the dapur. Instead of a normal kris, a Kelengan is made from many good basic materiala and so you nearly never find any rust. When you look closely to the photos you will see a keris which belongs to a person of a higher “kaste”, most likely a higher government officer.
