Nose: Seafood platter with marinated soy sauce, sherry-soaked plums, aromatic cigar ash, menthol, anise, sooty and peppery oak, old tea chests, rich ginger cake, oyster sauce. Palate: Dark tarry peat, gunpowder tea, sooty and peppery peat smoke, black licorice, smoked/cured meats, earthy/fern notes and savory food/celery in oyster sauce and stout! Finish: dark mint tea, sooty anise, more cured meat and smoked seafood, salt rock pools with barbecue embers, long and brooding!
