A large glass figure of a bull, measuring 31.5cm in length and weighing 3679g, decorated in sfumato sommerso techniques with billowing "smoke" immersed in the clear glass. Signed FM Ronneby Sweden to the underside, a mark used from 1961-1983. The Swedish glassworks FM (Färe-Marcolini) was an enterprise of the Marcolini brothers who had their education in Murano, Italy before moving to Sweden, and Bror Färe, Giuseppe Marcolini´s stepfather who provided initial funding for the company at its inception in 1961.
Condition: Chip to the foot, see magnified images, otherwise good.
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
