Yeka Haski is a visual artist based in Tokyo, Japan.

At the heart of Yeka’s artistic universe is Michi, a mysterious bunny-like boy who is more than just a character—he is an imaginary friend, a fearless guardian of creativity and imagination, and a loyal companion who encourages perseverance.

Michi’s expression remains subtly neutral, allowing viewers to project their own emotions onto him. When they are happy, Michi appears happy; when they are thoughtful, he seems deep in contemplation; and when they feel gloomy, he mirrors their melancholy. This emotional resonance makes Michi a personal and intimate presence in Yeka’s work.

In a world that often feels heavy and serious, Yeka’s art serves as a gentle reminder to embrace the joy of the present, to find beauty in the everyday, and to never lose the childlike wonder that makes life truly magical.
