Franco Vigorito

This Mini Clubman Estate was delivered new in the Netherlands in 1978 and has had 2 owners. The last owner completely stripped the car and removed all the paint from the sheet metal. After that, the car was truly sublimely restored. All done with various ground layers and built up with different layers of paint. The technique was also very thoroughly and professionally addressed. Everything was overhauled and renewed. The engine was replaced by a 1275 cc engine and equipped with another sportier camshaft. Also, the in and outlet ports, valves and valve seats were adapted, giving the car some more power. The changes also ensured that it can run on normal unleaded petrol. The gearbox has also recently been revised. The brakes have been adjusted to the higher engine power and there is a brake booster.

The bucket seats, sports steering wheel, window winders and door handles make for a sporty interior. The original front seats of the car are included. The sporty, broader, alloy wheels are new, as well as the tyres. It was equipped with a special exhaust, which is of course also new. The bottom of the car is like the outside; simply new.

In short, we are talking about a very special Mini Estate, which by the very thorough restoration can be considered a new car.
The complete restoration took over 2 years to complete. The car comes with a valuation report. A classic car that is sure to increase in value.
