"Black And White N48

A striking continuation of the series, Black And White N48 deepens the exploration of contrast through a more refined interplay of structure and light. The composition feels suspended between control and spontaneity: the black mass, dense and textured, asserts its presence with quiet authority, while the white field expands as a space of breath and illumination.

Here, light becomes more incisive—cutting across the surface, settling into the crevices, and revealing a layered topography that shifts with every angle. The textures are not merely tactile; they act as channels for light, amplifying the visual rhythm of the piece. Subtle tonal variations emerge within both black and white, dissolving the idea of pure opposition and replacing it with a more nuanced dialogue.

There is a sense of contained energy, as if the composition holds an internal pressure that never fully releases. This tension invites the viewer into a slower gaze, where the work unfolds progressively, revealing depth, movement, and silence all at once.

Light, once again, is the true protagonist—activating the surface, shaping perception, and transforming the piece into a living, changing presence.

Black And White N48
