A finely matched pair of Chinese cloisonné enamel vases, decorated with five-clawed imperial dragons pursuing flaming pearls amid dense cloud scrolls, set against a rich dark ground.
The vases are of elegant baluster form with flaring necks, each adorned with multiple decorative registers: stylised lotus blossoms, scrolling foliage, and ruyi-head borders, all executed in vibrant enamel colours separated by fine gilt cloisons. The dragons are powerfully rendered, with detailed scales and expressive faces, highlighted in yellow, red, green, and white enamels.
Both vases retain their original gilded metal rims and bases, with turquoise-blue enamel interiors, typical of high-quality cloisonné work. The pair is well-matched in size, decoration, and colour palette, making them ideal for symmetrical display.
