卖家的描述
The Dogon people live in Mali, in a region of the country called the Niger Bend. They succeeded the Tellem starting around 1500 CE.
They are found more particularly on a plateau bordered by the Bandiagara cliff, which stretches about 200 kilometers and overlooks a plain.
The traditional Dogon artistic corpus is centered on the worship of ancestors and spirits.
You can find numerous statues of different stylistic currents (kanaga, sirigé, ...), sometimes impressive festival masks (kanaga, sirigé, ...), but also granary doors and toguna pillars.
The bronze objects produced by the Dogon people are also very well known.
Beautiful decorative mask
