Anonymous - “Adelante como en Girón” - 1960s

Rare original Cuban poster from the 1960s, titled “Adelante como en Girón” (“Forward as in Girón”). The poster celebrates Cuba’s victory in the Battle of Playa Girón (Bay of Pigs, April 1961), in which the revolutionary forces led by Fidel Castro defeated the CIA-backed invasion. This event became one of the strongest symbols of Cuban resistance against imperialism.
