Beautiful abstract sculpture
by contemporary artist Ros Khavro

Carved from a Solid Acacia Wood*. Tanned with fire (yakisugi**), painted with natural black stain and waxed with natural wax. Rich in unique and beautiful details. Hand-made and very noble to the touch.
The sculpture will look great placed on a platform.
WOOD
* (Acacia is a long-lived material that does not rot when exposed to rain.
It will nicely represent itself indoors and outdoors.)
METHOD
** (Yakisugi (焼杉) is a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation. By slightly charring the surface of the wood without combusting the whole piece, the wood becomes water-proof through the carbonisation and is thus more durable. It also protects against insects, as well as making the wood fire retardant.)
