Invader (1969) - Sneakers d’invasion

An iconic work in Invader’s oeuvre, the Sneakers d’invasion represent one of the artist’s rare forays into wearable objects, at the intersection of street art and early-2000s conceptual art. Invader wrote in his own presentation:

“By wearing these shoes, you participate in the world invasion by the Space Invaders.
Rules of the game: one step = one point.
Enjoy invading!”

Red model, EU size 44, brand new and never worn, presented in its complete original packaging. The box contains a small Space Invader doodle.

Titled “01 Point Sneakers” (red version), these sneakers were produced by Invader in 2003, with a worldwide edition of 1,500 pairs.
